Watershed Management is the process of managing human activities within an area defined by topographic boundaries to conserve, maintain or improve water resources and associated values. The watershed management program focuses on topics that directly or indirectly affect water resources in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems in forested watersheds. We aim to objectively provide, link, and facilitate science and innovation in watershed management in order to enhance and improve sustainable resource management in BC watersheds. The overall goal of the program is to increase awareness and knowledge of natural hydrologic processes of coastal and interior watersheds and of the effects of watershed management.
