Introduction
The objective of this web module is to support the use and interpretation of the air photo and aerial survey habitat quality classifications applied to Marbled Murrelet nesting habitat. By illustrating multiple real examples of the use of these techniques and providing linkages to the best available information sources, users of this web module will increase their understanding of how these techniques are applied and what kind of Marbled Murrelet habitat classifications products can be obtained.

The intended audience of this web module includes professionals and researchers currently involved in the conservation and/or management of the Marbled Murrelet and its nesting habitat, and seeking to improve their understanding of the collection methods, classifications, and resultant products when tasked with either developing or reviewing Marbled Murrelet habitat plans.

Please note: this web module is not intended to provide formal training or certification on the use of these methods.
