Mountain Pine Beetle: From lessons learned to community-based solutions

All prospective presenters must initially submit a 250-word Abstract by April 25, 2008, indicating an interest in making an oral poster presentation or a stand-alone poster, and indicating which of the nine themes is most applicable. Upon notification of acceptance, all presenters of oral or poster presentations at the Forum must submit a 1500-1700 word popular summary by May 23, 2008.

The popular summary is intended to briefly communicate the key concepts, methods, results, and conclusions of presentations. A package containing all popular summaries will be distributed to attendees at the Forum and will be included in a subsequent issue of the BC Journal of Ecosystems and Management (JEM). All summaries must be written in English and follow the format described via the link below. Authors are strongly encouraged to electronically spell check and grammar check their popular summaries and have them edited by a colleague familiar with the topic prior to submission.
