Project Abstract:
The Corporate Publications Specialist and Project Co-ordinator - Corporate Publications will attend the annual conference of the
international Council of Science Editors in Austin, Texas in order to:
- showcase BC scientific publishing innovation by hosting an interactive display on Partnership information products, services, and
innovative approaches in the context of the Provincial Forest Extension Program;
- reinforce a supportive professional network by engaging in dialogue with scientific publishing experts; and
- gain awareness and knowledge of trends, tools, and opportunities in the scientific publishing by attending conference sessions.
Knowledge and awareness gained through the conference will be applied in the BC context through articles and a meeting of Partner
representatives to explore opportunities for further innovation and collaboration in BC's scientific publishing community.
