FORREX Forest Research Extension Partnership is a British Columbia-based non-profit charitable organization dedicated to supporting knowledge-based natural resource management solutions. Our mandate is to develop knowledge and education about natural resources and the management of those resources for the benefit of communities and resource partners in British Columbia. A cornerstone of the Partnership is addressing the natural resource community information needs through local problem solving, co-operative extension, and collaborative research.

Our vision is that, through our work, we will see sustainable ecosystems and stable, vibrant communities supported by the natural resource economy. We see the natural resource sector as a world leader in sustainable resource management policy, economy and practice. We also see FORREX as an integral player in an innovative and knowledge-based society.
