Improving Linkages Between the Forest Science Program and Client Needs

Project Abstract:
The FIA Forest Science Program is in transition and will require input on resource community priority policy and management issues in order to provide strategic advice and recommend funding priorities for their respective programs to the Forest Science Council. The Provincial Extension Provider conduct and report on needs assessments and processes and provide advice to the Council and/or any related committees on information generated through various client needs surveys and research gap analysis synthesis products generated throughout the year. Extension program representatives will ensure that both research and extension priorities are considered in future program planning.
